Canto del Cigno accompanies the play Julius Caesar. Detached parts staged at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna. The booklet contains essays by Daniel Sack, Joe Kelleher and Lucia Amara.
Romeo Castellucci was born in 1960 in Cesena. He graduated in Painting and Set Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. In 1981 he founded Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, together with Claudia Castellucci and Chiara Guidi,. His works have been presented in over fifty countries, and produced by the most prestigious theatres and festivals in the world. He has received numerous international awards and honours, the recent awarding of the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Biennale is the most recent important recognition of his artistic career.
