Alba Cappellieri is full professor at the Politecnico di Milano and at the Stanford University, she is Head of the Fashion Design degree, director of the international Master in Accessory Design and the postgraduate Jewellery Design course at the Politecnico di Milano. In addition to publishing a number of books, she has coordinated international researches and curated major exhibitions on the subject in Italy. Since 2014, she has been the director of the Museo del Gioiello in the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza, the first museum in Italy dedicated to jewellery.
