"The eclectic typography of Cimitero Monumentale speaks to me most and compels me to document every nuance of every typographic style. The 1930's "fascist" san serifs, Art Nouveau and Art Deco flourishes, 1960's and 1970's hipness, and paragraphs of masterfully chiseled classical serif faces all contently co-exist. This frenzy of design in Monumentale heightens its humanity and it gives the place a heartbeat. It is joyful place to visit."
