Blank Book is an “empty book” that offers unlimited possible solutions to be “filled in”; it’s not a “book-to-be-read”, but a “book-to-be-created”.
The bright images that stream on the pages are a sort of sketch, like vivid suggestions drafted by Martí Guixé to inspire the creation of stories always in a different way.
The task of the “reader” is indeed to “take up the word”, to get right into the creative process and invent the story through the writing.
Following the direction outlined in Corraini by A book of lines and Exhibition of painting, Blank Book focuses on the imagination and the active involvement of children and adults, proposing not merely to read a story but to accompany in its creation.
