Unheard accompanies the sound show of the same name by Romeo Castellucci with Scott Gibbons, the composer who he has collaborated with for almost fifteen years. For this new show, Gibbons uses a medical device capable of recording the lowest grade of human matter, the atom, seeking to penetrate the smallest essence that we are made from. Unheard contains texts by Romeo Castellucci, Henry Parkman and Scott Gibbons.
Romeo Castellucci was born in 1960 in Cesena. He graduated in Painting and Set Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. In 1981 he founded Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, together with Claudia Castellucci and Chiara Guidi,. His works have been presented in over fifty countries, and produced by the most prestigious theatres and festivals in the world. He has received numerous international awards and honours, the recent awarding of the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Biennale is the most recent important recognition of his artistic career.
