The latest book in the “Scarabocchi” (Doodle) series is dedicated to numbers. “Conta e scarabocchia” is a fun-packed drawing, colouring and counting book with some very original tips from Taro Gomi. Its 236 illustrated pages are filled with games and riddles based on numbers: novel ideas and suggestions demonstrate how numbers can play their part in acrobatic drawing exercises and easy arithmetic, but how they can also be used for decorating a bag or a dress, for drawing hundreds of stars or a funny mask.
This book shows how numbers can be signs hiding in everyday situations and things: each page is an episode to colour and complete – making every copy unique. In addition to “Conta e scarabocchia ”, the Corraini catalogue boasts 7 other titles by Taro Gomi, from the first “Scarabocchi” published in 2004 to the more recent 2011 and 2012 (coming shortly) Scarabocchi “Calendari”.
