Concetto Pozzati, artist and intellectual, signed three new graphic arts (etching-acquatint) for Edizioni Corraini, in 99 pieces for each. It is possible to buy the complete series of three or each one individually. More information on pages Graphic Arts and Special Offers.
Starting from the way of working of Bruno Munari, who is the author of the Unreadable Book at the end of 1940's, we present you a workshop, led by Pietro Corraini and Ilaria Rodella of Edizioni Corraini, in which children and adults alike will learn to make books that are objects that can be read without words or illustration. They will experience materials of different shapes, textures, colors, tactile sensation and (why not) different odors.
The workshop is free and open to the public.
Saturday the 16th of January and Saturday the 23rd of January, 2010, from 2.00 to 4.00 PM.
New York ArtBook, 548 West 22th Street

Let's start 2010 with the new series of appointments in 121 – our Milan temporary bookshop. On Tuesday 19th January Ettore Sottsass' last book will be presented: "Foto dal finestrino" [Photos from a carwindow] (Adelphi). Stefano Boeri and Matteo Codignola will be there with us.

Merry Christmas! … But as you can see Pietro & Ilaria, from New York, still remind us that Santa Lucia always arrives first than Santa Claus and Befana! Corraini Publisher joins the wishes too and hopes all the best for his friends, bookshops, art & books fan.

Cold whether and snow slew down our new Sedicesimo shipment, but don't despair! Next issue is going to be delivered at the beginning of January 2010. A little delay for a great new work by the Iranian artist Morteza Zahedi.
Between 121 Temporary Bookshop and our showroom in via Montevideo 5, lots of visitors came to visit us and Massimo Lunardon's glasses.
